## Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how the **Bangla Calendar** mobile application (“**App**”, “**we**”, “**our**”, or “**us**”) collects, uses, and protects your information.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

### 1. Information We Collect

We designed Bangla Calendar to work with **minimal personal data**. The App itself **does not require you to create an account** and **does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location**.

Depending on how you use the App and which third-party services are active, the following types of information may be collected:

– **Device information (technical)**: Such as device model, operating system version, language, and basic system information used only for app performance and compatibility.

– **Usage data (analytics)**: Anonymous information about how you interact with the App (for example, which screens you visit, how often you open the App, basic error logs, and performance metrics). This may be collected by analytics services such as Firebase or similar tools.

We **do not** intentionally collect information that directly identifies you personally (such as your real name, personal email address, or phone number), unless you explicitly provide it to us through a support request or other direct contact.

### 2. Permissions

The current version of the App does **not** request any dangerous or sensitive permissions from your device. It does **not** ask for access to your contacts, SMS, phone, camera, microphone, photos, files, or precise GPS location.

If network features and analytics are enabled, the App may declare and use the following normal permissions:

– `android.permission.INTERNET` – to allow the App to connect to the internet (for example, to send anonymous analytics and crash reports).

– `android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE` – to check whether your device is connected to a network (Wi‑Fi or mobile data) before trying to send data.

These are standard Android permissions used only so that services like Firebase Analytics or similar tools can work reliably. They **do not** by themselves give the App access to your personal files, photos, contacts, or precise location.

You can manage or revoke app permissions (if any additional ones are requested in future versions) at any time in your device settings.

### 3. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information we collect (mainly technical and usage data) to:

– Provide, operate, and improve the App and its features.

– Customize the user experience (for example, language or region-specific settings such as Bangla dates and holidays).

– Monitor performance, fix bugs, and ensure the App is stable and secure.

– Understand how users use the App (for example, which features are most used) through analytics services.

### 4. Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services, mainly for **analytics and crash reporting** (for example, **Firebase Analytics**, **Firebase Crashlytics**, or similar services). These services may automatically collect certain information sent by your device as part of normal app usage, such as:

– Device identifiers (for example, an advertising ID or instance ID)

– Anonymous usage data (for example, how often you use the App, which screens you visit)

– Basic technical information (for example, device model, operating system version, app version, and generic crash logs)

These services are used only to understand how the App is used and to improve performance and stability. They are **not intended to identify you personally**.

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review those policies to understand how they handle your data. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

### 5. Data Storage and Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, please understand that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

### 6. Children’s Privacy

The App is **not specifically directed to children under 13**. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete such information.

### 7. Data Retention

We retain collected data only for as long as necessary to:

– Provide the App and its features,

– Comply with legal obligations,

– Resolve disputes, and

– Enforce our agreements.

When data is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymize it within a reasonable time.

### 8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your device and region, you may:

– Control app permissions from your device’s settings.

– Limit ad tracking through your device or advertising settings.

– Uninstall the App at any time to stop all further data collection by the App.

If you have specific requests about your data (such as access, correction, or deletion), you can contact us and we will do our best to help, subject to technical and legal limitations.

### 9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically for any changes. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted will mean you accept those updates.
